Post How to start archery
The only place to get a bow that I can think of at this time is Irinviron.

There is a blacksmith there that has them. Make sure to wear something warm there or you may die from the cold.

Archery is NOT a cheap skill. The arrows cost alot of money and so do the bows.

You can get the arrows from any general store. Use training arrows for training. Using more expensive arrows during training is a waste. Because of the cost of arrows else than training arrows, you should save them for important things.

Trying to train archery at night is not recommended. You can't hit the side of a barn if you can't see the barn. Don't expect to hit a moving creature in the dark either.

It is best to has some sort of barrier between you and the thing you are shooting at. Shooting from on top of a wall and assuming they can't reach you will get you killed. Eternal Lands does not know about height differences and the creatures will be able to hit you even if you are on top of a wall and look like you should be out of reach.

It may be best to have a partner to shoot or fight what you are shooting at. This will hold the creature still for you and avoid it coming over to kill you for sticking an arrow in it.

There is supposed to be a certain distance where the creature will not know why it is getting hurt. I am not sure what this distance is, but I imagine it is the last few steps before it is out of your range.
